The Society has active branches in Ludlow and Church Stretton each of which runs a programme of indoor talks and Ludlow Branch organise outdoor visits in the area and beyond. All members of the SOS are welcome to take part in branch activities as well as the main activities of the Society.
Indoor meetings are held from October to March on the fourth Monday of the month. Venue is The Methodist Church Hall, Watling Street, Church Stretton and meetings commence at 7.30pm. Admission is free to members - non members are very welcome, admission £2 including refreshments.

The weekend trips are by car or coach as listed, places should be booked with the organiser John MacKintosh on 01584 861688. Book as early as possible for coach trips - a deposit of £5 will be required. Bring a packed lunch and wear strong walking shoes.
